Pablito Walks --The Fractured Faces Collection City Walks Line

Inspired by Pablo Picasso’s Cubist portraiture — the eye that refuses to settle on a single vantage point — this pair breaks the human face into its constituent planes and reassembles it in bold, unblended color. Each panel holds a different fragment: a profile bisected by geometry, an eye floating free of its socket, a mouth rendered in flat red against a field of blue and gold triangles. No single view is the “correct” one — that’s the point.

Painted in Picasso’s own visual logic — hard black outlines, saturated color blocks, features displaced and reassembled rather than smoothed into likeness — the effect is less portrait than argument: that a face, like a person, can’t be captured from one angle alone.
